  • Hmmmm. How is it "they" can provide videos to Al-Jezeera of American atrocities and injured innocent civilians, but when it come to these claims - no video? I see a mechanically dug trench suitable for a natural gas line or water line but not for "victims" even if they laid them head to toe.

  • Thank goodness Hamid Karzei and the UN BOTH condemned the bombing! That will really make the Taliban feel bad! Why do the papers even bother to report what Karzei and/or the UN do? It amounts to nothing.

  • Perhaps having a poke of gold in your possession is valuble collateral but it is my understanding that, by law, you can only sell it to the government, and they set the price. Trying to take it out of the country to sell on the world market is a federal offense. Is that right?

  • The "Watchtower" is free but I know what you mean. There is nothing wrong with a Bible education but unlike the training grounds for business (public and private universities) it is a poor qualification for a job unless that job is in religion.

  • Not that it helps those who aspire, but my son spent seven years at Michigan State to earn his PhD in English. He then scrambled to get a position teaching English Composition and other courses at College of Charleston. It was a one year contract and they didn't extend it.
